Mobilhome Rentals Aquitaine
Aquitaine is the land of indulgence! Pamper yourself on a holiday to this wonderful region...
Aquitaine boasts the longest fine-sand beach in Europe, stretching for 250km along the Atlantic coastline from Médoc, north of the Gironde to the Basque coast, interrupted only by the Arcachon Basin. Be sure to also visit the many famous seaside resorts and marinas.
Add 500km of shorelines along lakes, estuaries, and other ponds in a preserved natural environment that shelters extremely diverse fauna and flora. Aquitaine is also the place for mountain lovers, who will be delighted by the majestic Pyrenees towering along the southern border.
Aquitaine can be considered the cradle of mankind: here in the Valley of Vézère in Dordogne, homo erectus first made his home over 400,000 years ago. The region's history is, therefore, intimately linked to the history of France, leaving an important cultural and historical legacy. Other attractions include its religious heritage, not to mention the route of Santiago de Compostela (Saint Jacques de Compostelle - St. James of Compostella) and the papal city of Avignon.
Discover the wealth of culinary delights of a region that has mastered the art of fine dining -from Béarnaise poule au pot to the fattened duck of the Southwest. The palates of food connaisseurs and epicureans will surely be enchanted here in Gascony.
No matter what you're looking for - culture, nature, fine cuisine, or sports; a family holiday, a trip with friends or a romantic getaway - Aquitaine has it all!

LANDES
There are three sides to Landes....
First of all, the Landes coast, with its famous silver shores... the fine sand beaches facing the ocean, nestled peacefully between the dunes and the forest. A natural paradise for water sport novices as well as cyclists. The biking trails link the seaside resorts to the north with those of the south, from Biscarrosse to Tarnos, passing by Messanges and Hossegor, where the excellent surfing conditions are famous world-wide.
Next is the Regional Nature park of the Landes Coast (Parc Naturel Régional Côté Landes), the largest forest in Europe, whose trees have all been planted by humans.
Finally, the backcountry, La Chalosse, le Tursan et le Bas Armagnac, a region with deep culinary and historical traditions. The oldest sculpture in the world known to man, the Hooded Lady, was found in the Caves of Brassempouy.
Discover and partake in the light-hearted gaiety of the Gascons, who are always eager to celebrate at festivals and férias, featuring bullfighting, bull runs, regional races, etc.
