Mobilhome Rentals Languedoc-Roussillon

Welcome to Languedoc Roussillon, where the magnificent colours, odours, tastes, warmth, and joie de vivre will ensure that you have an unforgettable experience!

First, some background on history and the cities: A unique way of living, with relaxing strolls along shady terraces and carefree shopping in the alleys... the lovely and lively cities of Montpellier, Nîmes, Béziers, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Perpignan, Mende all welcome you to explore what they have to offer.

Next, of course, are the 200 kilometres of seashore along the Mediterranean... from Camargue to Côte Vermeille, there are a multitude of emblematic places full of resounding diversity. Fiercely defended by the locals, the Mediterranean coast here is a protected environment: 40,000 hectares of untamed nature combined with well-controlled urbanisation allow for the preservation of this exceptional area, where people respect the balance of nature.

The natural spaces of Languedoc-Roussillon offer majestic and captivating sights. Turn your back on the sea and head inland to explore the countryside from on high, summer or winter, in Lozère or in the Pyrenees. Traces of its prestigious and sometimes colourful past can be found everywhere in this land of conquest and trade. The diversity of sites it has to offer will impress you like no other place has before!

HERAULT

The seashore of Hérault, for the most part unsullied by any construction, is one of the most well-preserved along the Mediterranean. Its natural territories have practically all been acquired by the Coastal Protection Agency, although paradoxically, seaside spas flourish along these shores.
The spas have evocative names: Cap D'agde, La Grande Motte, Palavas-Les-Flots, Carnon, Sète, Marseillan, Balaruc-Les-Bains, Frontignan, Portiragnes, Sérignan, Valras, Vendres, Vias...all bearing the promise of smooth, sandy beach, an azure sky, a brilliant sun, leisurely seaside activities and lively evenings under a starry sky.

Take a trip through history and follow the paths of Saint Jacques de Compostelle (Saint James of Compostella), the Glass Road, the lake route, the schist path, and the paths of the Resistance
Visit Montpellier - discover a millennium-old historical centre and immerse yourself in the contemporary architecture of Antigone and the new districts. Also, be sure to visit the town of Béziers, which dominates the viticultural plains of Hérault from its rocky hilltop perched over the Orb River.

Or dive into the whirlpool of sporting activities: sailing, yachting, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, rock climbing, horseback riding, river cruises, spelunking...So much to do, so little time!

What is the food without wine? The Clairette of Languedoc is a "tranquil" white wine of Hérault, made of clairette or muscatel grapes. In Frontignan, Lunel, Mireval, and Saint-Jean-de-Minervoisare a few of the best known wines that come from Rivesaltes in Roussillon.

PYRENEES ORIENTALES (Eastern Pyrenees)

It seems incredible that such a small region can bring together such a wide range of landscapes and environments - it's almost like a dream!
The fact that each environment has its own unique climate mostly likely explains this amazing diversity.
The breathtaking outline of the Pyrenees can be discerned on the beautiful Roussillon horizon, an important landmark for the inhabitants of Catalonia, which you can see immediately as you come down highway A 9. The peak of Mont Canigou, reflected in the blue pond of Leucate or set on the lagoon between St Cyprien and Canet, seemingly so near yet so far, radiates its gorgeous splendour at all hours of the day. Not surprising that a host of painters and authors (Picasso, Pau Casals, Verdaguer, and Mérimée, to name just a few of the most famous) have been inspired to tirelessly sing its praises through their works.A rich architectural heritage: modest rural churches; superb cloisters and abbeys, the decor of the Priory of Serrabone, masterpiece of Romanesque architecture in Rousillon; rich furnishings, and a large number of defensive architectural monuments from all ages; 17th century fortresses and citadels, some of which were built by Vauban; signal towers lining the coast.
Perpignan, city of art rich in ancient monuments, with its museums and its history as capital of the kings of Majorque, is a very active cultural center.
The seashore stretches out between the sandy coast, where you can lounge on the magnificent fine-sand beaches just two steps away from the tranquil murmur of the reeds, and the rocky coast, with the irresistible fragrant warmth of the creeks. Is it so hard to choose? This is an endless and constantly varying kingdom to explore from one end to the other.
